Kid Clam 2 - Sponsor Reclam the Bay

Melissa Maschal is a year-round Beach Haven artist.  With her husband Bill and family, she owns and operates Country Kettle Fudge and Country Kettle Chowda Shop in Bay Village and Schooner's Wharf.

Maschal studied locally with Jane Law at Jane Law's Art Studio in Surf City and also at Key West Community College. She shows her work at Ooh La La Gallery in Beach Haven Terrace and the Solstice Gallery in Beach Haven.

Primarily a watercolor artist, Maschal is using acrylic paint to capture her vision of two Long Beach Island icons: the Shack on the Causeway (Route 72 approaching the island) and the Barnegat Lighthouse. Great blue herons, diamond-back terrapins and other bay life will be prominent.

Missy also painted the "Kid Clam" usually found outside the Fudge Shop at Schooner's Warf.
