bay and discuss all the interesting creatures that we find. Parents and

Clams And The
Nature Trail. As you walk along the wetlands nature trail, the only
one on LBI, you will be drawn, like the rain
that falls from the sky, to the edge of the bay. Here a ReClam The Bay
volunteer will tell you about shellfish and how they are related to and
dependant upon the water in the bay and the water that flows from the wet
lands into the bay. You will see, up close and personal, the baby clams and
oysters that RCTB is growing in an effort replace some small part of what
has been lost over time. You will learn some history, nature and even a

Waterfest |
ReClam the Bay will be hosting an
exhibit at the event, educating the public on filter feeding
shellfish and their contribution to a clean bay as well as how the
public can help too. Waterfest is all about water and the motto of
the event is “Our Waters Keep them Safe-Keep them Clean.” As in
previous years, this free event will feature Recreation and Public
Safety organizations that keep our Water clean and safe. This event
will be held in Bayview Park, Brant Beach, NJ. |
